The II Roadside Emergency, Relief and Rescue Gala recognizes those who work for safer mobility

The II VialEspaña Road Emergency, Relief and Rescue Gala, held in Adra, has recognized the work carried out by those who work every day for safer mobility.

The First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Finance, Contracting, Internal Affairs and Personnel, José Francisco Rivera, participated in this day, together with the president of VialEspaña, Silvia Muñoz, in which the important work of the emergency and security bodies was shown, with exhibitions of vehicles, and equipment of firefighters, police, Civil Guard, ambulances and road cranes.

This new edition has had a greater participation of entities and professionals in the sector, new recognitions and categories, reinforcement of the educational and preventive message of zero tolerance against the consumption of alcohol and drugs at the wheel and greater visibility of the role of emergency bodies. Attendees were able to participate in a mock rescue of people trapped in vehicles at the Adra fairgrounds.

Among the recognitions is Jorge Cabrera, an agent of the Local Police of El Ejido, for his career, empathy, commitment to disability and road safety education.
