The association Activa Tu Ocio y Di Capacitados fills the Municipal Park with terrifying beings in its XI Halloween Solidarity Race and March

The XI Halloween Solidarity Race and March organized by the association ‘Activa Tu Ocio Y Di Capacitados’, with the collaboration of the City Council of El Ejido, has filled the Municipal Park of El Ejido with witches, pirates, bloody princesses and numerous terrifying and creepy, but enormously supportive beings. Solidarity, fun and sport have gone hand in hand one more year in an event that has had different tests, which has included a competitive race with which it has started the morning, children's races and Solidarity March.

The Councilor for Sports, María José Martín, and the mayor Delia Mira attended this event together with the director of the Occupational Center of ‘Activa Tu Ocio y Di Capacitados’, Maru Sánchez, where they stressed that this race represents values such as "companionship, coexistence, physical exercise, healthy habits and solidarity. It is an opportunity to enjoy a morning of family sports while supporting the important work carried out by the Association ‘Activate your leisure and provide training’".

After the sporting events, the program has continued with the delivery of trophies, prizes and a raffle of gifts, as well as children's entertainment and mariachis and a day of coexistence with paella.

The full amount of the collection goes to carry out the activities and programs developed by the association throughout the year such as exhibitions, galas and cultural and recreational outings, which serve to improve the autonomy of its users.

It should be remembered that the City Council of El Ejido maintains collaboration with this association, as well as with other social groups in the municipality, providing technical and human resources through two agreements. In addition, this group has a space in the Business Initiatives Center for its Occupational Center.
