Mediterranean Film Series III - "La furia" by Gemma Blasco

The Rage

107' (+16) / color / fiction / 2025 / Spain

Alex, a young actress, is raped at a party on New Year's Eve and does not recognize her attacker.
When she goes to her brother Adrián in search of shelter and compression, he reacts by questioning and pressuring her.

Thus, Alex distances himself from his brother and everything he knows.
Over the course of a year, she lives alone with disgust, shame and guilt. Adrian, consumed by rage, makes his own decisions on an increasingly darker path, far from what Alex needs. Meanwhile, she plays the vengeful character of Medea and finds in the theater the only way to channel her pain and anger.
