Israel Fernandez "Of gold and ivory"

Music Concierto

Approx. reading time: less than 1 min.

"Of gold and ivory" is one of the most ambitious shows in Israel Fernández, where his most extensive facet as a musician and artist looms.

With this work Israel intends to immerse us in a subtle journey through his personal way of interpreting flamenco singing in a journey of his own compositions and revisions of classic pieces, all of them spun and taken to a new scenic and musical terrain.

The piano stands as the central ornamentation of the work in which it will also feature strings, choirs and its usual flamenco musicians.

In this way, the work aims to be a roller coaster of emotions: from the intimate, the delicate and the melodic to the dark, the dizzying and the torn. All this seasoned by the overflowing sensitivity of the Toledo singer.
