FEAFES Almería Mental Health El Timón

We are FEAFES Almería Salud Mental El Timón, a non-profit association founded in 1995 that works to defend the rights and improve the quality of life of people with mental health problems, their families and relatives.

Our work extends throughout the province of Almería, with headquarters in El Ejido and offices in Almería capital, Roquetas de Mar and Adra.

What we do

We develop programs and activities aimed at accompaniment, recovery, personal autonomy, social inclusion and legal advice, including prisons, for people with mental health problems.

We offer care, information and advice to families, leisure and free time activities, personal development workshops, psychosocial support, training and coexistence spaces.

In addition, we work to raise awareness in society, combat the stigma and prejudice associated with mental health and claim the rights of people living with these problems.
